Mole Facts
It is critical that mole removal and mole control is started as early as possible. At the first sign of a mole infestation, call Advanced Wildlife Removal at 714.862.9687 . If you delay mole removal efforts, your yard and gardens will suffer more damage. Beautiful landscapes are the result of hard work and financial investment — do not let moles destroy it all. Moles are antisocial creatures – living solitary lives, except during breeding season. Like gophers , moles can dig vast networks of interconnected underground tunnels where they will spend the majority of their lives. Moles are active year round; however, they are less active in seasons of extreme heat, cold or drought. Moles become more active whenever grounds are saturated with water because it is easier to dig new tunnels. There are a couple indicators of a mole infestation. As moles search for food just below the surface, ridges of dirt along the mole’s path (temporary tunnels) will be visible. A deeper, more permanent tunnel system will be marked by mounds of dirt that form as the mole pushes soil up to the surface via underground runways. These tunnels are usually 2 inches in diameter and can range from right below the surface to 12 inches below the surface.
Mole Control
Call Advanced Wildlife Removal at 714.862.9687 for expert mole removal. Moles are more difficult to catch than gophers. A mole infestation requires a unique set of traps and techniques in order to guarantee success. The time frame for eviction depends on the size of the infestation – usually completed in about one (1) month. Moles will cause significant and unsightly damage to your grounds. We highly recommend that you call for help as soon as you observe potential mole activity. Do not wait — the likelihood of costly yard damage increases as the mole population grows.
